Our little one has discovered the ability to kick me in the ribs. It is really weird and not too pleasant. More progress towards delivery. We can now watch the baby move. My stomach will move side to side and occasionally the baby will punch out and I can see this little bump come out. It is kinda alien-like. Randy set his head on my belly and he said he could hear the baby's heart beat and little swishing sounds as the baby moves. We have an ultrasound on Wednesday so we will be posting more pictures of our kicker. I am now getting to the size that people are shocked when they learn I still have 3 more months to go. We were actually asked today if we had our bags packed to go to the hospital. I definitely am carrying like my mom did, straight out and big. Less than 100 days to go. (Actually there are 92 more days until the due date!)

Just a quick comment on the voting process. I felt like this was the best place to put it since this post was about the baby.
In my not so humble opinion, there should be no discussion on what the sex of your baby will be. Randy comes from a family that, and is preprogrammed to produce, mostly boys.
This is due to a littel known factoid about the water we drank as children. You see it came from a well next to a dairy full of nuclear submarine waste. The water glowed bright pink and gave off a putrid orange mist. This has affected our ability to produce girls.
Now, you may ask then why a younger sibling has girls. The answer is simple. We moved from that particular house before said younger sibling had prolonged exposure to the waste. Thus, he was not affected.
All kidding aside, we did have a great, great, (I don't know for sure how many greats go here) Grandfather that was concerned for his posterity and last name as he didn't have very many sons and quite a few daughters. During a blessing he was given, he was told that his last name would go on and his family would be blessed with many boys to carry on the family name. (It's true, ask Randy's mom. She'll tell you.)
Anyway, to summarize and make the long story short: You're gonna have a boy.
Love you.
Oh my goodness, I had no idea that you were expecting. Congratulations!!! If nobody has volunteered, I would love to through you a shower or at least help with one.
What the UPS Guy said is true. But I always tried to tell your father it wasn't totally up to us to carry on the Swann name. HEHE
I'm anxious to see the new ultrasound pictures :)
I TOTALLY know how you feel, and I feel FOR you!! I had to make some T-shirts with my last baby that said,
"Quantity: 1
Type: Girl
Expiration date: August 16th"
because I got so many "congratulations" on my twins... ugh.
I just reason I'd rather be hanging out way in front than not be able to breath because the baby's all squished inside of me!
Hang in there... I don't have to tell you, it's all worth it
